Billing Auditing Manager

Angquanita (Angie) is Healthshare’s Senior Billing Auditing Manager and has been with the company for nine years. Angie is responsible for the department that audits all claims applicable to Case Management activities Healthshare is involved in. Angie is instrumental in communications between Healthshare, its respective funders and the service providers Healthshare appoints to provide healthcare services to their clients’ employees and / or members.

Angie is responsible for the optimisation of billing auditing processes within the case management department of Healthshare and empowers her colleagues to effectively determine errors, whether they occur in physical billing practices, or billing systems of her clients.

To her, the time from identification of problems regarding healthcare claims and the successful resolution thereof, is top priority. She and her team constantly strives to maintain and improve on their ability to resolve deterrents that slow down or hold up payment of claims by healthcare service providers or their funders.

In addition, Angie has extensive knowledge in the practice management of healthcare service providers’ practices. She is able to and has successfully trained staff members for many years on administrative and financial matters, ranging from accurate bookkeeping, to assisting with theatre lists, and raising invoices for healthcare services rendered. This intimate understanding of how both parties (healthcare service provider and funder) function, puts Angie in a unique position to resolve billing issues quickly and effectively
